Barb -

     Barb started sewing in the 7th grade.  She told the home economics teahcer that she didn not need to take sewing because her mom could teach her how to sew.  Barb finished the project before her classmates.  Barb's home economics teacher kept Barb busy by having her sew little dresses for some little girls.  Little did she know that the teacher and her mother, grandmother and teacher knew each other!

     Barb has three children and fie grandchildren.  She sewed a lot of her kids cloths when they were younger.

     Barb has recently developed an interest in quilting and decided it was time to take a beginner quilt class at the Eden Creative Sewing Center.

     Barb has also shown an interest in teaching some classes at the Eden Creative Sewing Center.  It is here where Barb has taught some quilt classes as well as serger techniques.  She loves to teach the new fashion sewers the cloths that she has made for herself.  Barb has told us, "there is nothing better than seeing a person smile with delight and joy once a project has been finished".
